On To Perfection
On To Perfection
The Church is not perfect, nor is every member on the same spiritual level. Some members have known the Lord longer than others, some learn quicker than others, and some have just started with the Lord. Like running in a race, at the time we draw near to the finish line of perfection, every member must hasten to complete the course. At that time, some members will cross over to perfection before others. Still, every member who "stays the course" to finish the race will quickly reach the goal. "The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this" (Isaiah 9:7).
It is the prayer of the author that every member will catch the spirit and zeal of On to Perfection. "Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:13). "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that I should be holy and without blemish" (Ephesians 5:27).
